PCB to drag BCCI to court for not playing bilateral series: Shahryar

PCB chief talked to media at Gaddafi Stadium and expressed these views.

LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan has once again claimed to drag Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to court for not playing bilateral series against Pakistan, reported Roznama Dunya on Tuesday.

PCB chief talked to media at Gaddafi Stadium and said both governing bodies had signed MoU to play six bilateral series but BCCI has not fulfilled its commitment even once.

Shahryar Khan explained that PCB is suffering a loss of $100 million per series which is not bearable. The chairman said that PCB intends to go to court for compensation of this damage as there are no chances of series against India this year as well.

It is pertinent here to mention that Shahryar Khan had also announced to knock the door of court last year for the same reason, but did not do it after taking advice from experts who said there is no legal importance of MoU that was signed between Pakistan and India.

Therefore, PCB chairman’s same announcement to file a case against BCCI has surprised everybody.
