KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially verified to conduct Pakistan Super League (PSL) final of second edition in Lahore after taking the decision in a governing board session held in Karachi.

According to PCB spokesperson, the final will be held on March 5 and if overseas players do not agree to play in Lahore due to security concerns then new drafting will be held in last week of February to select those players who are ready to play in Pakistan.

The league matches of second edition of PSL are scheduled to be played in Dubai and Sharjah from February 9.

The spokesman of PCB said that the board has taken all the measures including four bulletproof buses and best air travel for players for final in Lahore.

However, some matters depend upon security clearance and PCB is hopeful that security agencies and Punjab government will allow them to conduct the final in Lahore.

On the other hand, international players association has declared it dangerous for the foreign players to play in Pakistan.

According to PCB, latest security reports will be taken from the agencies to convince the players.
