PSL releases audit report of first PSL, reports profit
PCB earned 2.6 million dollars, passed on 2 million dollars out of these to the franchises
LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on Monday released the audit report of the first edition of Pakistan super League (PSL).
According to the report, PCB earned Rs 2.6 million US dollars in total from the first edition of PSL and passed on Rs 2 million out of these to the five franchises, keeping USD 0.6 millions with it.
The audit report was examined during PCB’s governing body’s meeting. The report says that the net profit from PSL’s first edition for PCB was USD 600,000.
PSL was played in February 2016 in the United Arab Emirates. Dunya News’ Islamabad United had remained the winners in this edition.
The board officials said that the first edition was a massive achievement and hoped the second would be a bigger success.
