Shahryar Khan breaks silence over quarrel between Wahab and Yasir while training in Brisbane

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Shahryar Khan questions why cricketers Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah got into a quarrel on Wednesday, after learning about the incident. He said that nothing is clear as of yet and the matter will be addressed after an inquiry report, reported Dunya News.

The PCB Chairman remained steadfast while saying that action will be taken against any kind of disciplinary misconduct. “Whether its the fault of Wahab or Yasir fault, action will be taken if understood necessary”, he added. Earlier, it was reported that leg-spinner Yasir Shah and paceman Wahab Riaz confronted each other during a football game in the team’s training session at Gabba in Brisbane before the commencement of first day-night Test against Australia tomorrow.

Shahryar Khan admitted that he was unaware of the scuffle between Wahab Riaz and Yasir Shah. He stressed that misunderstandings usually occur due personal differences and that it was not necessary to aggravate the matter.

While talking to journalists in Karachi, the PCB Chairman said that the Indian cricket board BCCI is ready to play against Pakistan but their government terminates any possibility of cricket with the neighboring country. “BCCI believes our hands are tied”, Shahryar Khan said while empathizing with the Indian cricket board.

However, he strongly made his point while saying that we will not beg for cricket against India.
