Mohammad Asif, Salman Butt included in PSL players' draft
The total cost of team was increased to Rs 120 million from Rs 110 million.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday has sped up the preparations for second season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The drafting of 414 players would be taken place on October 19 in United Arab Emirates in which players would be selected for five teams in different categories.
28 cricketers will fall in Platinum category, 33 in Diamond, 74 in Gold, 255 in Silver, while 24 will be given a chance in Emerging category.
Misbah-ul-Haq, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shoaib Malik, Eoin Morgan, Chris Gale, Malinga and Watson have been listed in Platinum category.
Yasir Shah, Kamran Khan, Sharjeel Khan, Mohammad Amir, Brad Hayden and England’s Moin Ali have been included in Diamond category.
On the other hand, players punished for spot-fixing in 2010 Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif have been taken in Silver category.
