KP ready to face Punjab in Pakistan Cup final

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) team led by star player Younus Khan will face Shoaib Malik’s Punjab team in a final match of 50-over Pakistan Cup at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad today (Sunday).

The match will start at 3pm.

Proper arrangements have been ensured while the authorities have also directed to monitor the whole event.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team would step on the ground with enthusiasm while Punjab team players are also ready to give tough time to the opposite side.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa led by star batsman Younus Khan include Mohammad Asghar, Fakhar Zaman, Musaddiq Ahmed, Zohaib Khan and Faheem Ashraf. Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah will mark a return to competitive cricket as he prepares himself to play for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the domestic One Day tournament. Abdul Rehman and Kabir Khan are coaching the KP side.

Punjab led by star all-rounder Shoaib Malik include left-handed opening batsmen Shan Masood and Salman Butt. Mohammad Rizwan, Asad Shafiq, Zulfiqar Babar, Ehsan Adil and Saad Nasim are also playing for Punjab in the tournament. The team is coached by former Pakistan wicket-keeper Atiq uz Zaman and Mautashim Rashid.
