Qalandar failed to give a huge total to Karachi Kings, Kings easily won with 7 wickets in hand

DUBAI (Dunya News) - Lahore Qalandars batted first in Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 second match on Friday as Karachi Kings won the toss and its skipper Shoaib Malik chose to field first , reported Dunya News.

According to the details, the second match of PSL T20 was played in Dubai International Cricket Stadium between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars. Karachi Kings won the toss and chose to field first.

Lahore Qalandars faced difficulties right from the start of the innings when Chris Gayle gave his wicket away in the first over to Shoab Malik. Azhar Ali and Muhammad Rizwan tried to pace the innings but to no avail. Wickets kept falling with very low run rate on score board. The innings got a blow when Amir took a hat-trick and Lahore Qalandars were reduced to 125 runs with a loss of 8 wickets.

Despite initial loss of 2 quick wickts, Karachi Kings easily won the match as Shakib Al Hasan and Lendl Simmons smashed Lahore Qalandars bowlers making Kings easily reach the target. Karachi won by 7 wickets in hand with 4 overs to spare.
