Summary Najam Sethi revealed 'Track-2 diplomacy' in Pak-India cricket on 'Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath'
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Head of Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Executive Committee Najam Sethi has on Thursday revealed some ‘Track-2 diplomacy’ between the Indian and Pakistani cricket board chiefs. He said that Chairman PCB Shehryar Khan and President Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) Shashank Manohar remained in contact during the former’s visit to India through their wives, reported Dunya News.
Talking on Dunya News’ program ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Saath’, Sethi revealed that the heads of the two boards remained in contact through their wives after Shiv Sena’s attack on BCCI’s office. He admitted that BCCI had given a direct hint after Shiv Sena’s attack of the postponement of the meeting between their officials and he left India immediately after the postponement but Shehryar Khan decided to stay.
