Rupee gains 30 paisa against US dollar in open market, gold price likely to soar

In international market, gold price per ounce has been increased by $29, and it hit $1432 per ounce.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The US dollar on Tuesday declined by 30 paisa against the Pakistani rupee in the open market, and was being traded at Rs156.90.

However, the greenback sustained its value in the interbank market, and traded at Rs156.99.

According to experts, the government must ensure implementations on economic policies after the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). It is anticipated that the US dollar rate would fluctuate for some time, and the value of the Pakistani rupee would stabilise after proper implementation of the economic policies.


Gold price likely to hit Rs80,000


On the other hand, the price of gold in the local market is likely to hit Rs80,000 per tola after an anticipated increase of Rs800.

Yesterday, the price of yellow metal stood at Rs79,200 per tola following a significant hike in gold price in the international market.

In international market, the gold price per ounce has been increased by $29, and it hit $1432 per ounce.
