Poultry products' prices skyrocket across Pakistan
Chicken price has reached Rs 230 per kg and eggs stand at Rs 144 a dozen
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Poultry products’ prices have skyrocketed throughout the country with high demand in relation to supply with the coming of winters.
In Karachi and Lahore, live chicken stands at Rs 140 and chicken meat at Rs 230 per kg. The eggs’ price has reached to Rs 144 a dozen from Rs 108.
According to All Pakistan Poultry Association, demand for poultry products crosses supply in winters causing the prices of poultry products to rise.
