WEB DESK – According to the latest study by Standard Chartered, more than half of Pakistan’s emerging wealthy class prefers to store cash at home rather than investing in the economy.

While doing so, a significant portion of the population is losing opportunities to grow their overall wealth.

The recent findings were part of the survey that was carried out with the title "Emerging Affluent Report – The Race to Save".

It is also worth mentioning here that the survey was carried out by an independent research agency called GlobeScan

The survery also revealed that 11% of the emerging affluent class on average in the eight countries store cash at home.

As far as India is concerned, India’s tally stood at 15% which reveals that Pakistan lags behind by a great margin.
