Petroleum prices rise as nation prepares once again for hike

Petrol price has been raised by Rs. 2.5 while the price of diesel was increased by Rs. 1.45.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Petroleum prices have been raised according to Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar as nation once again prepares itself for the hike. The Finance Minister on Saturday announced that the petrol price has been raised by Rs. 2.5 while the price of diesel was increased by Rs. 1.45. The Finance Minister announced of these developments while mentioning the government’s generosity saying it has provided relief to the nation.

Dar stated that the price of kerosene, Hi-Octane and light Diesel will remain unchanged. Dar also informed that the date for tax returns has been extended to 30th November.
