UN says Pakistan's GDP remained 4.1% last year but this year it is likely to rise to 5.1% in 2015

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – Pakistan’s GDP is expected to rise to 5.1% this year according to the United Nations (UN) report. The report says that Pakistan’s GDP remained 4.1% last year (2014) but it is expected to rise to 5.1% this year, reported Dunya News.

According to the UN report, the inflation rate and fiscal deficit are coming down in Pakistan and international markets’ trust is building in Pakistan’s economy.

UN report praised Pakistan government saying that the government was trying hard to make Pakistan progress. It said that the government s policies have increased international markets  faith in Pakistan.

First Moody s improved Pakistan s ratings and admitted the improvement in economic situation of the country. Then PILDAT s survey report verified achievement of targets in various departments and now the UN has also admitted Pakistan s economic improvement.

The UN says that economic developments are helping trust being built in the international markets on Pakistan s economy.
